In Two Parts;

The Broken Arched Molded Pediment Ending In Circular Carved Rosettes And Centering A 

Scallop-Carved Shell And Flame Finial

Above A Pair Of Tomb-Stone Shaped Raised Paneled Doors,

Opening To fitted Shelves Ending In A Pair Of Candle-Slides.

The Lower Section With A Hinged Slant Lid,

Opening To Reveal A Magnificent Carved Amphitheater Interior With A Carved Prospect Door,

Fluted Document Slides, And Serpentine Small Drawers,

With Secret Drawers Above Four Graduated Long Drawers With Thumb-Molded Edge,

All Raised On Later Ogee Bracket Feet.

Rosettes, Finial, Door Hinges, And Feet Are Replaced.

Chester County Pennsylvania, Circa 1765
