Chippendale Furniture

In the third quarter of the 18th century an English cabinetmaker Thomas Chippendale designed a line of ¬†furniture which he published in a book named “The-Gentleman-and-Cabinet-Makers-Director”.

His published designs soon  became the first style of furniture in England named after a cabinetmaker rather than a monarch, and his name became the most famous name in the history of English furniture.
